디구루는 2000년대 초반 일렉트로닉 디제이로 음악을 시작하여, Cargo, Answer 등 클럽에서 레지던트 DJ로 활동하는 한편, 록에서부터 일렉트로닉까지 다양한 음악 장르를 접목시켜 자신만의 고유한 사운드를 만드는 프로듀서로 활동하고 있다. 2006년 <Address> 음반을 발표하며 뮤지션으로서 그간 쌓아온 음악적 스펙트럼을 보여주었고, 동시에 국내외 각종 음악 페스티벌에 참여하였다. 2008년부터 리더로 활동해 온 IDIOTAPE은 전자음악과 밴드 음악의 경계를 무너뜨리며 한국 일렉트로닉 씬에서 독보적인 자리에 올라서 있다. 최근 Sziget, Exit, Glastonbury 등 유럽의 수많은 페스티벌에서 공연하며 그 입지를넓혀가고 있다. 또한 ‘DUBPLATE’, ‘디스코익스피어리언스’, 멤버로서 언더그라운드, 전자음악씬에서 중요한 발자취를 남기고 있다.

Dguru started music as an electronic DJ in the early 2000s, and while working as a resident DJ at clubs such as Cargo and Answer, he is working as a producer who creates his own unique sound by combining various music genres from rock to electronic. In 2006, he released his <Address> album, showing the musical spectrum he had cultivated as a musician, and at the same time participating in various domestic and international music festivals. IDIOTAPE, who has been a leader since 2008, has broken the boundaries between electronic music and band music and is standing alone in the Korean electronic scene. It has recently expanded its presence by performing at numerous European festivals including Sziget, Exit and Glastonbury. He also left important footprints in "DUBPLATE" and "Disco Experience" as a member of the underground electronic music scene.
